Thank you for your interest in Crockett and Jones Shoes.
In order to obtain a nice polish, you should follow these steps :
- brush your shoes to remove dust with a polishing brush
- cream these with an colorless cream if the leather is dry (you can do this
step every 4 polishes more or less). You can use a soft cloth to apply the
cream
- apply shoe polish (the same color as your shoes, never colorless polish
because it can leave white traces in the folds) with a soft cloth or a
special brush
- brush your shoes to make it shine with a polishing brush and to avoid the
leather to have too much wax in
Now, if you want to make it shinier, you have to take a soft cloth, put shoe
polish on it and make small circles on the toe and the hindquarter (party in
the back of the shoe). Then, do it the same think with
Few drops of water, and repeat it until the shoe shine.
You probably could not shine your shoes like on the video the first time. It
need practice !
To clean shoes that have too much wax, we use a renovator. It is the
equivalent of make up cleaner milk for shoes. This special milk clean shoes
and remove the wax in exceed.
