A few Saturdays ago, I went to a local library which has a nearly complete, bound collection of Esquire magazines from 1934 to the present. I took photos of fashion plates and advertisements from the 1934-1940 issues. I was (pleasantly) surprised at the variety of styles and colors that men were encouraged to wear back then. I suspect that you, too, will be surprised by the color combinations! Who knew that brown hats went with practically everything? Let’s begin with WARM WEATHER SUITS:
