Dat is wel goedkoop, vraag me af hoe ze hem hebben gereinigd en gesmeerd dan, maar dat kom je waarschijnlijk toch niet te weten. Feit is gewoon dat ze hem goed af moeten regelen. Minder dan 10 sec. per dag in twee posities moet altijd makkelijk haalbaar zijn volgens mij.

In dat geval zou uurwerkje eruit wippen en een nieuw erin fabrieken een betere optie zijn. : )

Nee, dat weet ik ook niet. Wat betekent 'in twee posities'?

Een positie is de oriëntatie van de klok terwijl hij afgesteld wordt, zoals PB eerder zei dial up/down, crown up/down, etc. Door de manier waarop zwaartekracht anders invloed heeft in elke positie kan de afwijking anders zijn. Quote van internet:

The hairspring is a flat coil of wire with the axis of rotation perpendicular to the dial of the watch.

The dial-up and dial-down are the horizontal positions.

When the watch is in the dial up position, the coil wants to cone down and all the weight rests on the lower point of the staff.

When the watch is in the dial down position, the coil wants to cone up (relative to the movement) and all the weight rests on the upper point of the staff.

Now, the shape and finish of the two ends of the staff are not perfectly equal, nor is there a perfectly equal amount of oil on the bearings, so there will be slightly more friction on one point of the staff than the other when all the weight is resting on it. This will lead to slight differences in rate.

The 12, 3, 6, or 9 high positions are the vertical positions.

In vertical positions, the friction of the balance pivots is much higher, which reduces amplitude, as there is more contact area (both sides of both pivots, as opposed to just the point of one pivot). The reduced amplitude produces a faster rate (because shorter swings complete more quickly). Also, when the watch in any of the vertical positions, the coil will sag toward gravity, the upper coils getting closer together, the lower coils further apart, the weight of the balance now rests on the sides of both pivots. Because the weight distribution of a spiral shaped piece of wire is not perfectly equal, one side will be heavier than the other. Which side is heavier depends on whether the 12 is high or the 3 is high, etc. One side being heavier will cause that side of the balance not to swing as high when on that sides up-swing and therefore take slightly less time to complete that half of the cycle, speeding up the rate by a minute amount.

There are ways to minimize these positional variations, such as blunting one end of the staff to increase the surface area in contact with the bearing jewel. This allows you to match rates in the horizontal positions. By moving the regulator pins together, apart, toward the center of the balance or away from the center of the balance you can match rates in the vertical positions.

Some hairspring shapes are better at maintaining vertical consistency, the breguet hairspring is one such design, however, the these require a higher balance cock and therefore more room in the movement, flat hairsprings are preferred these days by most movement manufacturers.

EDIT: Your Standard grade ETA is adjusted for 2 positions, dial-up and crown down, these are the two most crucial positions for a wristwatch and usually can be balanced against one another two achieve a respectable rate when worn on the wrist.

De kast met dial en wijzers zijn helaas nog niet binnen, ETA is erg traag. Het uurwerk ligt inmiddels al een tijdje te wachten dus. Heb hem ge-pimpt met geblauwde schroefjes dus ziet er wel netjes uit:
