Ik heb niet zo veel met casual; dus voor mij zit er in ieder geval niets bij, maar bij de getoonde "gewone" modellen zit toch wel wat leuks voor mij tussen.  :-k

Grappig dat je dit zegt; de Chapel is een model die ik ooit nog wel eens aan mijn collectie zou willen toevoegen,

de Philip II in suede ook (ik heb dit model in zwart glad leer en bevalt mij erg goed) maar die wingtip lijkt voor mij wat te veel op mijn Saint Crispin's 104.

Wanneer iemand nog Museum Calf wilt bestellen moet men snel zijn; Ilcea (Spanish tannery) is failliet sinds vorige maand.

Wellicht is dat de reden waarom John Lobb Paris de laatste tijd meer de Misty Calf naar voren schuift op haar prestige line schoeisel; het museum calf werd ook gebruikt door o.a. Vass voor de MTM-MTO
en bespoke schoenen.

Vandaag mijn John Lobb Chambord (boots) als tegenhanger van de Edward Green Dovert aan gedaan, het bruin wordt met het aantal draag- en poetsbeurten als maar mooier.
Ik heb nog een John Lobb Chambord in buffalo black on dainite thuis staan; heerlijke, ijzersterke casual schoentjes.
Het model Dover en Chambord zijn voor mij niet de mooist denkbare modellen en hebben een beperkte (zakelijke) inzetbaarheid, maar ze gaan wel een 'eeuwigheid' mee.
